I rest my case.

Also, the stock suspension could be nearing the end of its natural life after 16 years of use. So its a perfect time to install a lift if you need new suspension anyway.

Lucky8llc has good stuff for offroad parts. But the best way will be to start watching the forums For Sale sections and pick up stuff used.

People also cut off that entire cover and weld on a sewer cap that's been tapped with a fill plug.

Fish is more referring to the big *** dent in the middle and that's a back rear so it backed into something hard, that center is thin sheet metal

I use the weld on front cover

4wheel parts lists 4 of the 4600's for $280, are these the same? I've never purchased from them before, any reason not to?

Yes it looks like those are the same according to these links.

Looks like a great deal. Good luck with 4WheelParts though. Both myself and Ian have found out they can be little bitches and don't have great customer service.

Since you have a 98 an Ultragauge would be at the top of my list. Crawling through traffic and off roading are the times my truck runs the hottest. You need to watch the temps on these trucks carefully.
Also it might sound stupid but aim your headlights. Use a wall or garage door. If you find your self out there in the dark and your lights are all pointed ****- Zu style, it's a real pain.
Basic recovery strap incase you get stuck and need a yank out. Charged cell phone.
