oil in gas...
So My girlfriends cousin had a gas can that he said he could put in the car so we could go somewhere ...idiot didn't check it first and thought it was just gas. but he said there was oil in it. and he put another in before that was straight gas. the car started at first but now it wont. and we have no money at all to have someone look at it. what can i do? when i go to start the rpm spike a few times, like it was getting close. but the rest of the time it doesn't. please help asap.
Oil in the gas will not make the truck not run.
If it was straight oil then it might, but not what I am assuming was 2 cycle mix, like for a weedwacker or chainsaw.
You have something else going on.
You need to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail, on the passenger side of the engine is a tire valve looking thing.
With the key all the way on but the engine off press the valve, if fuel shoots across the room then fuel pressure is fine.
I dump my old 2 cycle gas into my truck all the time.

So there was motor oil mixed with gas?
Still should not be a problem.
It might start hard, but once it gets running it will be fine.
You may need to add more gas to dilute the mixture.
I do not know how much gas was already in your truck or how much oil was added.
5 qts, problem, 1 qt, no problem.
