Angry oil light flicking ,low rpms , dies

i was driving home from work the other day and i had to stop somewhere. when i got back in and start it up and drop in drive the rpm drop beyond 500 and oil light starting to flicking and die... crank it back up same thing but when i got it pass 1500 rpm it threw black smoke out and it ran fine inthen i stop again and got it beyond 1k rpm and it whould act up again....when i got home,i check the oil and it had a heavy gas smell to it.so chould it be a blown head gasket or crack block....

i been fighting this issue since i brought it.....

compression test, you can buy or rent/borrow from auto parts. oil light from low rpm and dilution, you should be running 15W40 oil. could be just valley pan gasket, would not give up yet

How about fault colds, do you have any, if so what are they?
Oil pressure will not throw black smoke.
My money is not on the oil pressure so much as the low RPM issue allowing the engine to run to slow and the pump is not keeping up pressure.

I agree on oil psi, but while borrowing tools, may as well eliminate that. he did say more of same, hopefully not oil light again

Sounds to me like you have a fuel problem.

Watered down oil doesnt like to creat pressure at 500rpm or less.

NO CODES?

I would check for a stuck or dirty injector. are your O2 sensors working properly? Have any vacuum leaks?

Those are your issues my bet is you have O2 sensors causing you to be full rich, which is common when they go out. They will flood the pee out of your car.

change that oil fast and dont run until the codes are cleared. you are literally dumping fuel in your motor.

I think DiscoLife is on the right track. Bad O2's will run very rich, pull some plugs out and see what they look like. Also read O2 signals on the code reader at the parts house if you do not have one yourself. My local Advance Auto will let you use their code reader which also can read the live data from the O2's.
