I'm sorry, I was going to cheat cuz' I'm not going.

In fact, I'm going back to central Mn. for a week or so.

I'd challenge you to an mpg contest, but I don't think I can get 24, 21+ maybe if the wind is right.

These are times I wish I had 235/85 7rib tires running 45psi

(I'm not liking ethanol additive.)

luck,greg

The 24mpg was before the SD roof rack and the Cooper S/T's.
Now I am at a consistent 15-16mpg no matter what, daily driving or a trip to Wally World does not matter, 15-16.
But I do need to take into consideration that we now have a dog and she weighs 70lbs, plus dog food and her cage (another 50lbs) and both kids and us.
So all the extra weight and added wind resistance does not help the mpg.
We were going to take the wife's Volvo to Cedar Point but the CD changer does not work nor the tape deck and 4 hours (each way) with only the FM radio will suck it.
So the Disco wins again.
That will be a ~700 mile trip and then we will do ~600-700 miles two weeks after that for a long family weekend with off roading at my fav spot.
