Too much trouble, easier to run 10 feet of wire. Just getting to existing oil switch is PITA, a lot of the add-ons use an adapter screwed in between oil filter and the base.

Or you could use an OBD-II USB adapter to a car PC with Streetdeck and a dash mounted display. Now that'd be cool
