Default Once again crank no start

Ok first time posting so bear with me. Here’s the lowdown:

I had a crank no start issue. I diagnosed it as a fuel pump failure. I installed a new pump with sender unit. After priming a few times it started first go. The relief!

The truck was idling nicely and then I noticed that my fuel pump relay was sitting there on the seat. How was there power being sent to the pump i asked myself?

so I turned the truck off. Put the relay back in and sure enough it started up again. Strange

prior to the new pump install I’m certain that the pump would only turn on intermittently when the relay activated. A 2-3 sec prime while key in position 2.

Relieved the truck was starting again I brushed it off and went in for the night.

Woke up today and went out to the truck and once again I got a crank no start. Strange thing is I can hear the fuel pump continuously priming when key in position 1 or 2.

sorta lost here. Any tips would be well appreciated

Check the lines (esp. out of the tank) and the fuel filter. That's all I got.
