I see no mention of head gasket other than someone else mentioning that it may be a possible source of leakage (which it most certainly could be). I bought a block tester a while back that tests for exhaust gases in the coolant system. They're very effective in helping to rule out a compromised head gasket and at around $40 at any auto parts store they are economical as well. I don't buy cars anymore without performing a block check. You should consider getting one.

Rodding the radiator is always a good call, but in the meantime, clean out all the leaves and debris that have accumulated between your AC condenser and your radiator.

Also, when you turn on the AC both of your condenser fans should come on. If not that could be your biggest problem right there.

Good luck.

Block test first. That will let you know how big your challenges are. You could chase all these other issues for weeks, but if your head gasket is blown, you'll be ripping the entire thing apart anyway and will have plenty of opportunities to fix/replace all those little pieces on the way.
