Any way to get a pressure reading before the rail? Maybe makeshift temp port tapped in? I'd be curious about those "nasty" fuel lines you mentioned. Maybe restricted flow?

Hard to tell if your chasing a physical problem or a false reading/electrical problem.

Need to get time for fp reading, runs fine, drinking gas though

Well I guess I need to unhook that line at both ends and blow it out, wonder if the rubber part could be collapsed inside

I had a Ford Bronco once that ran rich as hell then lean as hell. After wrestling with sensors and computer crap (obd1) I found one of the lines off the pump on top the tank was collapsing inside. Took me forever to figure it out. It was only out of desperation that I finally started throwing parts at it. I had removed the gas tank twice and replaced the pump twice. Never saw the bad line. I must have replaced every sensor twice on that truck. Haha

You know, when I did the fuel pump I removed the clear tubing in the assembly and replaced it with rubber fuel injection line, wonder if that's breaking down from being submerged in the tank

It is in a loop so it does not kink

I thought fuel injection line was safe to do that with.
