Default parts geek window regulator seems way too cheap

Anyone tried one of these? At $31.89 I wonder if they are another waste of money like the super cheap fan clutch from auto zone that either never disengages or will not engage... ( i tried 3 before I gave up on them)
anyone?

Try and find a good cleaned up used one. You have a chance with that! The cheapie new ones end up in the trash!

was afraid of that.. the last survivor on the local bone yard had one.. when I got it out I see the thing was drilled and (tried) bolting the gear on to the regulator. Was toast.

I ruined mine after the gear came off and the $10.00 wielding shop wielded it while the gear was on the wrong side of the motor.. into the trash.

Guess I will see if the $99.00 one from British-Atlantic is worth it.

Thanks

Try Paul grant or will T on disco web. They run parts business breaking down old ones. Sometimes free shipping! They are
easy to find there.

Try contacting them with my sig links. I installed a BA regulator in 2008, worked until I sold the Disco last year.

Thanks - you just answered my second question, about BA. Glad to hear they are better than parts geek
