I've used Pentosin Super DOT 4 with no issues, but 99.99% of the time I use Castrol GTLMA DOT 4.
The Castrol has never let me down in multiple vehicles, not just LRs over many years.
You will see it in white bottles, but all the new bottles are black (same synthetic formula). Advance, AutoZone, etc carry it.

For some reason neither of my local stores carry the Castrol DOT 4. Frustrating. They have store brand DOT 4. For my own clarification, are these fluids all synthetic? Running synthetic in the Rovers isn’t going to damage anything correct?

IDK about the "house brands" (I won't use them) but the Castrol GT LMA is synthetic, and has been for years. No worries it works fine in a LR.
Sometimes I have to call ahead at Advance for them to get the Castrol from the local warehouse, but they normally have it in stock(1 day). Of course they want to sell you the Wearever brand so that is always in stock, but again I'd pass.
