Default Power steering pump whine

I replaced my ps pump and bled the system. Now I have a whine tied to engine speed. Could it go away over time? Self bleeding? No bubbles in the reservoir, although I did initially.

Any ideas?

Thanks

replaced with a new pump ? or used one ?.........and what did you use for fluid ...(.it should be ATF if you didnt know) ............the air and noise should bleed out after a few minute and some lock to lock turns

If you didn't already do this, bleed any air from the PS Box.

" Now I have a whine tied to engine speed."

Any possibility you got some ATF on the belt/pulleys when the pump/hoses were removed?
Even a small amount can cause a whine/squeal sound.
