Hard nylon washers from Lowes work perfectly, just find the ones that are the right size and pop two on to make it thick enough. A pack of 4 cost me .76 cents. There is a write up in the tech section on discoweb.org

Thats nice, these work even better. Cast directly from the OEM part and designed to be used without modification to the stud. Some people do not have the availability of grinding the studs off. This roller simply utilizes the original stud and easily snaps in place.

Are you making these rollers? What material is it made out of? How long have they been in constant use? I'm just curious as to how long they will last as they are "snap in" and the center hole will wear and get bigger with use and may "snap out"???

Durable, strong, flexible plastic which can withstand the abuse. This design allows for compression and flexibility. Of course they will wear, everything does. It is simple just Snap-In the replacement.
