Exactly! Thanks. There are many great products out there for these, however there isn't as much as I thought, in this country, for the disco. In therms of expedition equipment. There are times when we spend several days in the truck and I've bulit most of the accessories because of that reason.

Often times custom built can be an advantage if you have the skills, abilities and materials to accomplish what you need.

They are a pretty good basic platform that offers a lot of possibilities for improvement.

Maybe some members/users could do a collective effort with their talents to design and fab some basic items that a lot of us could use.

Very true. I've always thought a Unimog or 101 would be a great option, however much of the time we don't use the off road capabilities of these trucks.

I like how you mounted the fire extinguisher! I had the unfortunate experience of having an ABC powder discharge its self in the rover..... I'm still vacuum that damn yellow powder to this day!

What are you using to mount the shovel, axe and fire extinguisher to the rear door panel?

Those are Quick Fists, and might be one of the greatest "novelty" inventions ever. They come in different sizes.

I drive enough strange cars that all require fire extinguisher and haven't had an issue. The quickfist clamp are almost as good as sliced bread!

+1 on the QuickFist, can't beat them in a lot of situations.
