Default PS Pump

Before I put this on the truck I wanted to get the collective opinion from around here. I'm somewhat concerned with the sounds this unit is making when I turn the spindle. It is as if there is some 'play' inside the pump.

Is this a normal sound? (may need to turn the sound on your computer way up to hear)

I think it's ok Walt............iirc mine was about the same, as long as there is no play in the bearing it should be fine

Thanks fellas.... The bearing is as it should be, no play. The sounds seem to be coming from the internals.

I never knew what was inside until I checked out the magic of youtube. I suspect those little fins that act like an impeller are making the noise. I learn something new every day.

Skip to the 2:00 minute mark to get a look at them.
