R380 Fluid

Hi Guys - going to do some maintenance on the 5 speed over the weekend, an cant seem to find a consistent answer on what oil to use in an r380 trans.

Whats the opinion??

Takes about 2.5 qts of fluid. I used Redline MTL.

32mm for the drain plug

T55 for the fill plug

**Make sure you can remove the fill plug first**

Thanks! Yep will have to look and see if I have a T55

Also make sure the fill plug is good-n-clean so you can seat your tool on it for removal, if not it may strip the bolt and it will be harder to remove.
I used a toothpick and some shop rags.

x 2 on Redline MTL which has the proper additives and composition that does not eat our internals with the yellow metals in our transmissions
