Radiator bleed screw... Son of a *****

Are you 100% sure its leaking around the screw and not the seam where the tank meets the core?

Yeah it's coming out from the screw. I just went outside and cleaned off the teflon tape off and retaped it. Made sure it was good and tight.

Am I suppose to be using Teflon tape on the brass screw?

Is there a rubber washer on the brass screw?
There was a rubber washer on the old plastic one, if there is a rubber washer no need for the tape.

Well I don't remember there being one on my plastic screw but I am probably wrong. I do know that the new brass one does not have one. I will check after my drive home to see if my new tape job fixed it.
