Default Bleed Screw Tubing Size?

Quick question...I'm planning on changing both sets of brake pads, and figured if I have the wheels off, it'd be a good time to bleed the brakes. Anyone know the correct tubing size for the bleed screw? I remember reading 1/4in, but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Remember buy 3 pints os DOT 4 and try using the synthetic, it holds up better.

Thanks for the quick feedback...I'm going to try the 1.4in" tubing and see how that fits. Definitely going with the Valvoline synthetic DOT3/4 brake fluid. Starting first thing in the morning, if it doesn't rain. Thanks again.

When I bled the brakes last, I remember reading this thread and then finding out that 1/4" was too small.

Does anyone actually know the answer to this before I head to the hardware store and buy various tubes...I can't remember anymore.

Thanks
