so it seems no one answered your question about replacing the LCD in the radio head. i have the same problem and would like to know if it can be replaced and who does it and how much? i have a 98 range rover hse with the premium sound system. any help would be great! thanks

 

The LCD ended up being ok. Didn't need to do anything except change some wee little bulbs.

 

I'm having the same issue with my 2008 LR2 HSE, I can see text just fine on the screen but the green backlight doesn't work so I cant see it at night and when its really bright out. I called a landrover dealership and they told me it would be thousands of dollars to fix lol. Anyone find a way to fix the backlight?

 

I have the problem the lights work on the radio but the LCD don't light up when I put the lights on is there a seperate. FuseI n the back of the radio or the bulbs are gone and I never took out that radio before it's a 97 se7 disco
