here is the amp labeled from underneath:

this is the amp from under neath (note the 7.5 amp fuse and the empty location where the harness plugs in)

and here it is through the glove box (has a small yellow circle sticker and a big white square label sticker on it)

and a link to someone selling one!:

on a side note if anyone is interested, using Ohms law to calculate power based on total voltage 13.8 volts times total current 7.5 amps (the fuse in the amp) gives our stock amp a max rating of 103.5 watts. in reality the amp will never hit that (well maybe if the truck got struck by lightning while going top speed!) realistically the RMS rating would be closer to the 40-60 watts range giving us a hammering 10-15 watts per channel!!!!

I have my:
Electronic Fuel Injection Control Unit sitting there...
Where else could my amp be?

you said you had the black/red and black/pink wire going into the door grommet? can you follow that into the truck and see where it goes?

It heads all the way to the back, and then it appears to turn left.. can't follow it past that for now.

Any other hiding spots for an internal amp?

according to my rave manual 1995 says the location of the amp is "behind RH side of fascia" that is exactly what it says for all D1's 1995-1998 (with the exception of some 98's have it under drivers seat). It does not list a picture for the 1995 but according to the rave manual it should be either in the same location as the 97's or somewhere else behind the glove box. maybe if you could take some pictures so I can see the same views as you.

From the Glove Box

The black box where my Amp is SUPPOSED to be..
