Default Ram housing removal.

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I've searched through the catalog, and haven't found much to help me out here.

I recently started to replace the thermostat on my disco and do a radiator flush. It had started to overheat, and I am trying to figure out why. After the first drain I began to refill with water for the first flush. I noticed that some of the water was leaking underneath the truck somewhere behind the firewall. After crawling around under the vehicle, I found that the water was dripping off of the bell housing. I checked hoses to make sure they were well fitted, and in decent shape, but couldn't find anything obvious. After trolling around the forum I found that the valley pan gasket was a common problem, and that the leak often presented in the same manner as the one I'm experiencing.

I got the plenum off without much issue, but the ram housing has me a little stumped. I'm not entirely sure what needs to be disconnected in order to remove it. I have both a Haynes manual, and the workshop manual as well, but I have a difficult time reading and relating the books to what actually needs to be done. The fuel rails look as though they would need to be removed, but neither manual says specifically to remove them. I may just be overlooking this portion, or reading incorrectly, but I'd appreciate any help I can get. This is the first LR I've ever owned, so it's all new to me.

Attached are some pics that shows how far I've gotten so far.
