Default Rattling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys hope all is well. heres one for you all. i hear a rattling noise from underneath the car while im driving. you only here it when its in drive. in park or neutral it doesnt make any noise just the engine purring. when im going up a hill or just driving on highway i can hear it. when i let my foot off the gas it goes away. took it to my mechanic and he couldnt find anything. any ideas? cats mayb?

Double check your Ujoints, but it's probably your cats. While you're under there you should check all your bushings and TRE's just to be sure.

Tap on the cats with a wrench when the car is not running, you will here a rattle if thats what it is.

Wrench hell use a rubber mallet that way is is a blunt noise so you can hear the rattle good, what year d1?

Check the flud in the transfer case. It could have leaked out.

just checked the cats with mallet. they are fine

Muffler? Resonator? Starter heat shield? You said rattle not vibration right? Did you check the drive shafts?

muffler, res, and heat shield checked no probs there. yes it a rattle not a vibration. only comes when foot on gas pedal. drive shafts have play not to much. i would assume that its normal play. u-joints are fine also.
