Default Re-soldered windows ECU, but problem is still there.

Hello guys.

Two days ago I took out my windows ECU and found 4 or 5 problems with the soldering. Re soldered all of them, installed the ECU again, and the rear windows still do not work.

I really would like to repair the problem without buying new ECU and without bypassing it. But, if the ECU is bad, then I will bypass it.

Is there any other common problem I can check?

Thanks!

When I did mine a week ago the first time I went through it didn't fix anything so I pulled it out and went over it again and re-soldered joints that didn't appear to have any problems, then it worked.

I was pretty bummed when mine didn't work the first time too. And I really didn't expect anything the second time. Figured it was above my skill level....

God, when I think of the hours I use to spend looking over solder points on circuit boards with a jewelers magnifier...

Sometimes you just don't see those little solder defects. I have seen plenty with other 30 years experience on aircraft and missile systems. And those minor defects can take you down hard.
