Default rear cargo door won't open

Kids slammed the rear door and now it doesn't open. the lock moves up and down, handle inside moves and has pressure on it at the point where the door should unlatch. Outside handle doesn't seem to want to move at all.

This is the only time I get to see my disco is when it is broken.

Any ideas or suggestions??

I am guessing I will need to get inside the door (remove the panel) to see what happened...

Remove the logo on the rear door handle. Spray WD40, PB blaster, etc. liberally into the lock mechanism. Should free up. Sounds unbelievable but I have freed up 4 doors this way.

Stick a rag under to stop the excess from getting all over your paint.

I didn't know the logo came out like that, sprayed everything down good and found that the key lock on the outside was the culprit!! got everything moving and it opened just like new!!

I thank you and the grandson thanks you! now he can get his stroller out and go for a ride!!

You are most welcome, it's always amazing when something is fixed so easily.
