Default Rear Diff Flange

Hello All

So I was using British Pacific's new online chat tool to look at getting new bushings for my 98 Disco 1 for the rear A-arm. (Drive Line vibration still)

They parts guy Steve told me that my vehicle had been modified cause ALL Disco 1's came stock with the rubber bushing diff bushing.

Is that true? I know mine has the a 4-bolt flange on the diff side and I am pretty sure that my rig is 100% stock except for the work that I have done to it. Cause the previous owner did not believe in replacing shocks, bushings or anything else except for the oil it appears.

By rubber diff bushing, do you mean a flex-joint/roto-flex? It goes between the driveshaft and and rear diff flange? If I remember right, LR phased out use of them sometime in '97. My '98 has 2 u-joints in the rear shaft, no roto-flex, and came that way.

Yeah I mean the flex-joint/roto-flex. So I guess the British Pacific guy didn't know what he was talking about. hahaha
