Default Rear running lights and dash lights not working

Anyone had this problem?

All my lights are working except at night(headlights on) the dash does not light up and the taillights associated with the headlights being on don't work.

Rear fogs, brake lights, turn signals all work.

I checked and there is no power to these lights, bulbs are good.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I had this problem. It was the turn signal stalk. It's not terribly hard to remove and replace. Search on here there is more info. I took mine apart and cleaned the contacts. It's a little fiddly with the springs, but doable. Or you can get a used one.

I've had this problem multiple times. Check all your fuses there times. I believe the first time my glove box light was the problem. Every time you open the globe box with the headlights on it will blow fuse 8 or 9. The secon time it was a bad fuse #2. Could be a bad ground. Always check all that could cause the problem before you spend any amount of money on a new switch. I luckily had a parts truck and i simply swapped the stalks but nothing changed. I can almost garrauntee you that it's your glove box light

Right on. And what the springs and contacts eventually do is cause high resistance, overheat blade and it's connector that power the dash and running lights. It's the switch, can be fixed up or replaced. If your not handy replace it. Common issue.

X2, signal light stalk. It can be removed and contacts cleaned and reassembled, but kind of tricky to get it back together without a good model to look at. I bought and used one and got me going, then cleaned my old one and have a spare.

Anyone have any suggestions or guidance on repairing/re-building the stalk?

Thanks.

Default Lights acting crazy.

Right tail and right marker light plus dash lights not working, power to fuses bulbs are good on lights.
