Default Rear view mirror

Looking to replace the rearview mirror. Common issues with these is that the liquid inside leaks and it begins to look bad visibly. I would like to have a basic no lights mirror similar to what is in my 4Runner. Anyone tried a good replacement that looks good and last?

Amazon Amazon

The issue with the mirrors is that you'll need to install a new mount. Not difficult, but it is necessary.

Pretty much any 10" mirror will work with the new mount. Just choose the shape you'd like.

I have a mirror from a '97 DI I'm currently parting out. I can't attest to the auto-dim feature but the glass is clear of any of the typical "dripping" issues commonly found with these mirrors. If you're interested let me know.

I have also sold a number of DII mirrors to people with DI's. They seem to be indestructible.

Thanks Paul. Are the DII mirrors same as DI? Same mounting point, etc?

The D2 mirror mounts up the same as the D1, you may need to punch the mouting tabs a bit for tighter squeeze. You will also need to wire in the mirror a bit differently than the D1 to get the compass and auto dimming to work in the D2 mirror. It is well documented on the forum with a quick search
