Yesterday while replacing the washer tank and headlight washer motor and checking that the other washers still worked, I activated the rear washer several times which sprayed and wiped, but on about the forth test it sprayed but no longer wiped neither with the wash switch nor with the wiper switch pressed on. I checked fuse 18 per the book and it is OK, so I am wondering if there might be a common wiring or connection failure that disables the wiper motor.....or do I now have one more thing to replace?

BTW, the headlight washers do work now after also replacing the non-feedback water valve and the heat hardened cracked hose from the pump to the valve. Fortunately I'd liberated those from the 95 my bro-in-law let me strip before it went to the crusher or I might still be lying under the Disco with washer fluid soaking my T shirt.
