The remote entry won't unlock/lock the driver's door on my 1998 discovery. It will lock/unlock fine with the key and from the inside. Does it need to be re-programed?

 

No, I reprogram won't help it. What happens if you hit the remote button 2 or 3 times?

 

If it does not electrically unlock / lock other doors might look at fuse F4 (15 amp) in satellite fuse box #2, under the steering wheel fascia. The driver's door unit is a little different as it has to signal the Alarm system if the key is used.

 

The remote electronically locks and unlocks other doors fine, but not the driver's door. When I use the key, it unlocks all doors fine. Also, when I am inside the vehicle and lock the driver's door with the little ***, all the other doors lock.

 

Nothing happens after I hit it 2-3 times.

 

I purchased a 2008 Land Rover this past saturday and i am experiencing

I took it to the dealership yesterday and they said they repromgrammed it and it was fixed. I tested it before i leff and it was STILL NOT WORKING...finally they just gave me a new set of keys - Why didnt they do that in the first freaking place? My car has been in the shop more then i have had it. O well..eveything is working fine now...well at least for now
