Does anyone know if the cruise and ABS are linked? I thought I remember hearing something about the cruise won't work if your ABS is disabled? Any truth to this?

Did the swap this weekend. didnt fix my problem, but one thing to check off. My 98 Disco, used that same color wiring as the new module (not according to instructions posted here). I followed the pin-out, and the wiring was the same.

Is the AMR5700 and the Bosch P38 the same beast? My AMR1173 is dead and I need a pig tail for the conversion, where can I get a P38 or AMR5700? Bill Mills colitatx@yahoo.com

Yes, the cruise control ecu is the same in Bosch P38a's. If you want one with a pigtail it's $17.50 and that includes shipping. You can PayPal me using paulgrant@mac.com or you can call me on Monday with a credit card.
Cheers,
