Really? Thanks for the vote. Maybe I can do this. Need to research tools and get me couple of jacks. I'm on it.

I can't weld by the way. I'd love to learn how.

Do one side 100% at a time, so you can compare to other side if a problem.

YEs I would do that...one at a time. I need to figure out what tools I need including a jack and stands. I don't have much. I think Calebbo outlined it..ill go look.

A good sized crescent adjustable wrench is a start, and some smaller pliers. A hammer and chisel to bend the fold over washer out of the way.

I bought one of the large adapters made to fit the lock nuts, but with those you cannot use a torque wrench when putting it back together.

There are several good write-ups and a video or two on utube as well. And you need the grease for packing the wheel bearings and if you are putting in new bearings, you need something to beat the old races out to put the new races in. According to Tom, you never want to leave the old cones in there with new bearings.

He also advocates the double lipped seals over the stock ones.

Amen on the no old bearing parts, will wear the new ones out pronto. Use a brass drift pin and / or old cones to hammer things out, brass does not mar surfaces as easily.

I tried to find a brass drift. The only lead I got was they were listed as tools for gunsmiths. I wanted to buy one and could not find any anywhere. Fortunately, my bearings were all good, so I just repacked them.

I also replaced all my rotors and pads at that time and two calipers (rear).
