Which sensor supplies vehicle speed to ECU?
1997 Disco I
When cruising at highway speed the ECU is reading (sporadically) interpreting a vehicle speed in excess of 100 mph.
Using live OBD data (see video) the truck is getting data suggesting it is travelling in excess of 100mph. In order to protect itself, the ECU retards timing until the vehicle speed falls below a certain threshold.
In reality the truck is simply cruising down the road at ~70mph.
So, which sensor is the culprit....crank, cam, or vss? Or is it the ECU (pretty sure it is not)? Everything else works fine and the truck runs very well otherwise.

Thanks all. I had replaced the original about two years ago with a known but used sensor. Nothing lasts forever and so I'll bite the bullet and buy the ProLine version from RN and hope this puts it to bed for some years.
