the hardlines do have a tendency to rust (depending on where it lives obv.) Mine rusted out at the base of the firewall. Def worth looking them over front to back.
I ended up bending my own hardlines for the entire vehicle - was nearly 70ft of line haha

I believe I have a slow brake line leak, as I moved the car today from inside the garage to outside, and when I moved it, there was a light yellow puddle from underneath the front. Haven’t confirmed but I think it may be the cause. I also drove it like 2000 yards for the first time in a 10000 years so maybe it’s a blown head gasket. But didn’t seem fluorescent enough to be coolant!

My clutch line rusted and had a pin size hole in the same exact firewall location. I had to fix it while on an inclined large gravel driveway. It was at that point I renewed my vowel in cussing and cursing!
It helps to have a proper bending tool for the replacement copper tubing.

Steady as she goes MasonJ

I believe the landy build will stop for months now unfortunately. Although im 28, I’m doing life all on my own and the economy is officially too expensive. Hoping it will all be fixed soon but I’m not political. Just a guy trying to to the best he can while he’s here. I’ve also been dealing with some odd health things I need to figure out. But I’ll still post when I’m able if I do work!
