hello, I am new ,,have had my 1994 disco for the 3 years. main issue cannot get it to shift into hi or low range. not an issue to lock diff. any ideas thank you ...also any clubs in North West Arkansas

 

Check the manual to see if there's an adjustment option for the shifter. Sorry, I don't know since I'm new to these and mine works for now.

It just so happens that I had to look at that part of my transmission over the weekend. Basically, if you remove the center console along with the rubber boot covering the gear selectors (you'll have to drill out the rivets) then you can see the mechanism for selecting hi and low range. There are adjustments. You can also vacuum underneath the console when you're in there.
