So last week my wife smacked the mirror on the garage door frame pulling out, busted the glass and its backing. Everything else appears fine. I see on rover parts it says the disco 1 and 2 share the same glass, and their use mirrors are a lot cheaper then ours. Anyone know any more about if it'll work? Either mirror itself or assembly, don't care. Can't just so glass since she broke the backing and eBay listings have free shipping so it's cheaper then rover parts.

 

another truck hit mine but just broke the mirror. i got a replacement mirror from Lincoln.

Well the glass is 40 shipped, so not enough to use insurance, I just don't wanna spend that on my wife's mistake lol

 

I have glass coverage so when mine got smashed in a parking lot it did not cost me a thing to get it fixed, the bill was $35, took the glass shop 10min to swap them out.
My mirror housing was not broken though.

 

My housing is fine, it's the mirrors backing. Ill have to call and see what my glass coverage does. Thanks for the idea
