Default Sitting in a hole

Trying to figure out a good way to fix that mesh hanger that goes under my foam. I bought new foam thinking that was the problem but apparently that mesh which looks like it was made in the caveman days broke through. (No I did not do this and I am not some huge fatass! )

Any ideas?

I've seen a couple of fixes. some with duct tape, other use zip ties. One guy created a new "hammock".

Use seat belts. Old ones. They'll never break.

Great suggestions.

For my money the guy who is building the canvas is the way to go. Sent him a PM but since that post has been dead since august 2010 I am not holding my breath.

The zip ties look intriguing and cheap.

I thought about a cargo net cut down to fit as well, to take a page from turf.

Yeah sorry fo r the double post. Anything like that you can get your hands on. if you have an army surplus near you I'll bet there will be no shortage of nylon webbing. Let us know how it goes.

Find some cord that has a little stretch to it and lace it across, I used some old upholstery vinal and the original metal pieces and made a new sling.

I am thinking of making a weave out of parachute cord. Still will have a little flexability. I will take lots of pics and post it up for future reference.
