I have a 1996 auto discovery ES. the brake light switch I have to replace is not like either of those. I have tried to attach a picture. Unless the switch on the left is inside? Anybody have and idea's PLEASE.

I don't know if the parts are the same for your truck in the UK (I would think it would be in this case) but here is what is equiped on NAS trucks:

There are two switches on the brake pedal - one is for the brake lights, the other turns off the cruise control. You may be looking at that one instead of the brake light switch.

 

Actually, the local chains here have the listing wrong too. I obtained a switch from AZ though and it is marked EXACTLY the same as the original and it was only $20. I pretty much told the kid at the counter which one I was buying and where he could put his application guide.
