I pulled out the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and rebuilt it. I had bought one off of Ebay for $35 to examine, and I found it easy to disassemble and the problems with it were easily correctable, so I pulled the one from my truck and did the same. I'm going to start another topic with the writeup and photos.

I finally made my bumper pretty, and cut the plastic pieces so that they didn't hang down. (for the longest time I didnt have any plastic on it)

Default Weekend drive

As promised took the Disco to the beach.
This site is situated in the National Elephant Park and to get there takes a 2hour drive to cover 50 km.
The disco behaved well but need those coil springs and shocks.

Sunday, I painted the rear bumper, front bumper, brush guard and end caps flat black. Changed the wipers, I'll clean it out today. She was down for 7months.

Just threw on a bumper and a 4.5 inch lift off of a D90. Doesnt look to shabby at all, and it wasnt to hard to fit it all up either.

Today I replaced about a dozen burned out switch lamps. Rather than pay a couple of dollars each, I ordered these from a Chinese seller on Ebay:

100 Pcs 3mm Clear 14V Mini Grain of Wheat Rice Bulbs | eBay

They fit exactly, and at a total cost of $18.83 for a hundred, they not only cost less (18 cents each) but I've probably got enough to outlast the truck.

Got a pic of the front? Looks like there's a fitment issue with the bumper. What springs/shocks did you put in there?

The fitment issue is the fact that I dont have a passenger side light. Still.. It does sit slightly low, but nothing to really get my bungaroos up in a knot about.

So far I havent had any clearance issues with it, and I have been trying, but about anything I would normally go through, or over it clears.
