So what did you do to your Disco today?

That's going to be a tight squeeze. My friend is running 265/85/16's on his D2 using my old 2" RTE springs and they BARELY fit with no trimming. You will definitely need to trim, and possibly add some spring spacers, along with adjusting your bumpstops. Good for you for going big though. Post pics when the tires are on.

It's a fun project, took me a few hours. All the clips are the same, and mount to brackets on the engine/tranny the same. Disconnect the sensor plug from the hard mount, then disconnect the sensor. Taking out the coilpack is so easy, be sure to do that too! Really wish I had a topside creeper to do the job...was kneeling on my radiator and balancing to reach the back

our 98 d1
just got through with the preliminary fender trimming. want to wait till the 1" spacers get here to level the front with the back. in the first two pics we are trying to see where all it will rub. didn't have to adjust bump stops, still have prob 2" of clearance to trailing arm at full turn

got the wrong size today from autozone and was itching to get cutting done, so reordered the right ones to arrive tomorrow. btw they were 1/2 the price of atl brit. will prob trim off lower valance, but we like the look of the factory bumper so we may mount a winch between the frame rails behind the bumper so the fairlead is all that shows where the license plate is now
