Hey guys as some of you know I just bought a 95 Discovery last week and I've been loving it. After driving it for a week and being content that nothing is wrong mechanically I took it to get serviced. Had Diffs serviced, oil changed, fuel system flushed and serviced, tranny serviced, needed a slight alignment and had all other fluids checked. Brake fluid and hoses are still clean(replaced in 2011) coolant levels are good, no leaks, under carriage has some surface rust, but nothing horrible. Overall I am happy with my decision to purchase. With regular maintenance and a few repairs I feel like it will last over the years.
I also as a treat for myself picked up a 1/2 roof rack and front push bar.
I have all of the mounting hardware for the roof rack, but not for the bar. I believe the bar is a bolt on these cars correct? Do you know what size bolts to use? Links would be appreciated.

I went through a couple sets of those in my D1 before I gave up and went with cheapies. They work great and last fine in my van, but their lifespan in my D1 was too short to justify the cost. I wish you better luck!

new stuff update
so the build is still going , i checked out the new valving fox racing helped me with, its smooth, and flying in the desert its smother (just loud with all the plastics metal jiggling around)
on the road tho its needs better castor kinda lurches around like a drunk beast,
so i know i still need gearing and cv joints and axles but i want to test fit them Humvee tire 37" on 16.5" bead locker wheels .
but before that i got to move the front end 2-3" forward, make a drop bracket to lower my arms ,and build extended links on the front , and soon move the rear end 1" to 2" back
so i tossed in a picture of before and after
