Have you retapped the two holes in the bottom of the diff yet? Get rid of the BSF 3/8"-20 and tap to 7/16"-14.

Popped out the old bushings in my extra panhard rod. Will pop in the new ones when they get here and swap rods out on my '97. That should fix the death wobble.

Almost rear ended someone today when my pedal went to the floor. Nice steady drip of fluid from my brake line under the drivers seat.

Actually I have a question. I didn't do the O2 sensors this weekend. So should I just do them or wait to do them when I get the hedders in a few weeks I believe, in my mind I am thinking of doing everything just at once. The O2 sensors aren't bad just decided it would be best to change them so no hurry. Any suggestions?

depending how stuck the old sensors are, it can be a hell of a lot easier when the y-pipe is out.

Old diff is tapped. Still need to drill and tap the new one.

Also changed the fuel pump harness, fixed my rear window, greased the swivel *****, and did a few other little things. Now time for real work.

Your hedders will probably require some sort of custom Y pipe, or some welding/mods to the current Y pipe to make them work. I would drop the Y pipe and work on getting the old O2's out. Buy the special socket, it will help you save the ones without rounding the nuts. Try heating the bungs. I would put the two new O2's in the pre-cat position on the new hedder/Y pipe configuration. Then keep the two old but good O2's as spares.

Oh, and I got my HD front axles/CV's today.

If she's gonna drop the pipe anyway, the o2 socket shouldnt be necessary.

PB blaster and a box wrench should be enough.

If you need to use a flare wrench, dont use the harbor freight ones...they dont catch enough of the nut.

Rust on your axles.. How the hell did you manage that? Mine still look brand new because they're always coated in oil.

Are those new fancy ones Ashcroft? $?

The stock set in the pic are my spares.
Nope, not Ashcrofts. I've been sworn to secrecy on the make but it is a reputable company and should be a new option assuming these pan out and fit well.
