Of course my wife would freak at me doing 60 down a dirt road, LOL.

What GPS App are you running? I've tried Sygic but found it less than ideal for plotting routes. I don't have 3G on my Tablet so was looking for something with downloadable maps.

I run AlpineQuest. The tablet is a Samsung Tab3, built in GPS, WiFi only. I just stuck a 64GB card in it in addition to the 16GB built in.
I'm quite happy with the setup, worked awesome this weekend.

I have a 7" Tab 2. Mostly I just use it with the torque app and the Bluetooth ODBII scanner to run extra gauges. i would use it for a GPS if I found an app that worked well. But between the Tablet, my iphone, my old garmin and my trucks sync. I can usually find where I'm going.

Default Putting her together.....again

Water pump went south a few weeks ago. Replaced it, timing chain and gears and gave her a good cleaning inside. Put everything on and harmonic balancer had a bad wobble. Checked crank, good. So I bought a used harmonic balancer. Put it on and it has a wobble too. No clue as to why 2 would have a wobble. That I had it figured out thinking that the oil pump drive gear may have slipped towards the front of the engine when installing the timing cover and somehow wasn't allowing the crank pulley to go all the way in. After taking it apart and measuring the distance of the crankshaft gear from the block, I think I'm wrong. Anyone know if there's a thickness difference of the oil pump crank drive gear between Disco 4.0's?

Are you sure its the balance wobbling not just the pulley?

Hey, not really sure. When I put it on today I'll try and see. Any other suggestions?

Run the engine no pulley and watch the balancer a minute with no belts not gonna kill anything, just seems odd 2 bad balancers

In my experience on various engines crank pulleys can be bent easy, if not it then ???

Did a hood blackout with black Flexidip spray (like plastidip). Turned out ****ty. Thought I'd need one can, but needed four and coverage was still poor. Adhesion is also poor as it easily scrapes off. It's looks good right now, but as soon as it goes off-road I'm sure it's going to peel off.
