Fuel filter (Wix 33481) and de-glazed the rear rotors (again) with some light sanding with 200 grit. I am starting to see the problem with 'value priced' rotors. I guess they are not all the same.

Installed a ladder and rear light protectors, scrapped off previous owners stickers and put on a lucky8 that came with my ladder and ignition fix. Fixed my CDL shifter. And my seats were utterly garbaged out and torn up, so I carefully duct taped them up real nice and they feel like brand new seats. I contoured them so they still have the bolster shape on the edges. I'm actually pretty impressed with how they turned out and I expect them to be pretty durable.

unfortunately duct tape tends to get sticky during warm weather over time.

Yeah, I'm well aware! Once I'm done getting it all fitted on there, I am actually going to hit with a heat gun to "activate" the stickiness and keep pressing it. Regardless, the seats were complete garbage before, now they are really quite comfortable. Plus they have seat covers. Although I need to find some better fitted covers.

Default New mudflaps

Installed new rear mud flaps and inner mud guards (what the mud flaps attach to) lost a set of rear mud flap are last off road trip. Inner mud guards were corroded badly, so time to replace them. Did the fronts last time.
Now I’m thinking I want some sort of QR for the rear set to quickly remove them once out in the bush so they don’t get ripped off while off roading.

Would you have any images of this. I ask because I four mud flaps rusted and broke off. I was walking in the neighborhood and came across a mud flap, only to learn it was mine.

I just replaced a missing mud guard myself. Mine are only three 10mm bolts/nuts so it is already pretty quick.

I could see using a 'keyhole' type of arrangement on the plate which 'sandwiches' the flap to the mounting bracket where two of the bolts are fixed and only the third needs to be bolted/un-bolted.

-0 -0 x '-'= fixed studs welded to the mounting bracket '0' = the bottom larger portion of the key hole 'x'= the bolt to be removed/installed with the flap.

I like that idea. I have an great ability to over complicate it by using a marine turn button, but that’s open to theft.

Marine turn button for mudflap use.
