Source for cross-drilled LT230 input gear?
Considering inspecting and if necessary replacing the input gear on my LT230 with a cross-drilled unit. I'm hoping it might eliminate the downshift clunk I've had for years.
Problem is, I am having a difficult time locating a source for a new replacement.
Any leads?
Thanks!

Pull one from a pull yard if u have any around. pto cover comes off quick and most t case models can have the gear pulled right out maybe 30-40minute job. Ashcroft has a listing with the models with cross drilled gear. Also remember some input gears can be replaced in situ again ashcroft has a good listing of what models can be replaced like this.
