Drilled Rotors worth it?

My front brake's are about shot. I am trying to decide what rotors to buy Napa wants $85. for un-drilled stock rotors. Expidition exchange wants $120. for their DBA drilled rotors. Do you think I will notice a difference in stopping power and brake component life? I am also thinking about some 2" longer braided hoses. I bought some Hawk HPS pads. I am not a aggresive braker because of the heavy weight of the vehical. I do plan on doing some offroading with it. A 2" lift and 265/75/16 are on the list of mods.
Thank you,
Willie

DBA rotors and Kevlar pads are the greatest stopping power you can have on a Disco, they will out last convential rotor/pad combinations and are cost effective.
You should plan on changing your rubber brake lines to stainless steel and use synthetic brake fluid to keep a firmer brake pedal.
The one thing you can't do is only use DBA's on one axle, have to use them on all four wheels.
I have a set on my 99 D2 and with nearly 58,000 miles on them, they are only 50% warn.
If you want to stay with convential brakes, check out the sale at Atlantic British.

Try, http://www.dap-inc.com/homeframe.htm I think they have about the best price for the DBA's and Kevlar pads.
Don't forget to buy 2 qt.s of Vavolines synthetic brake fluid and some sound deadening sparay to put on the back of the brake pads.
Good luck and have fun.
