I would check at the harness at the radio first. Make sure the connection there is good. I (think) the wires run along the floor at the base of the doors - but I'm not sure.

Do you still have the OEM stereo?
Your amp might be toast.

It is possible, but you'll have to see how the po wired the stereo, if they used an adaptor and the factory amp you'll basically start fresh. If he's already run new wires you've got bad speakers. I opted to run all new wiring when I did mine and it was annoying, but in the end worth it, everything is fresh and done right so yea. If it's aftermarket wiring it's hard to say where they may have run it, start by removing your stereo and see how it's running.

He seemed to have used an adapter, but it's not my speakers.
They all shoot out 3.6 - 4 ohms of impedance which is normal. A blown speaker would have unlimited or something. So I'm guessing it's the wires.

Or maybe the unit is bad.
When the stereo in my work van went belly up the left speaker stopped working, replaced the speaker no dice.
Replaced the stereo and all was well once again.

I would test each speaker with a known good source first, then use a known good speaker to test each output. If you are testing the speakers at the output of the deck, you may be going through the amp and reading the impedence there, not the speakers. I would still suggest testing where you can hear it. It isn't hard and you will know for sure. Then you can start running things down....

Default Speakers that fit!

I just bought some speakers from wal-mart for $24 a pair three-way sound that fit perfect in the front doors and rear post. I also, used them to replace the subs in the rear door. All are working fine with no modification to the wiring or body opening.

Good Luck!
