Default spring fitment Q

will the 99-04 disco2 suspension springs and shocks fit a 98 disco1?

Yes. I have a two inch lift off of a 2002 put onto my 96 with no issues. OME Heavy Duties. Havent had any issues.

good I can get salvage yard ones almost free and my rear springs are shot

I thought you said your lift was off a D90?

The shocks will not fit, different style.

My old lift is a 2 inch OME. My new lift is off a 90.

And for some reason, I didnt pay attention to you asking about the shocks as well. +1 to what Mike said.

ok not looking to lift it just want to get stock height back ,coils are so beat it looks like i have bad airbags in the rear the way it sits

The rears will for sure fit, the fronts I am not to sure about, but I dont see why it would be any difference. Just make sure you put the drivers side front, on your drivers side. I can remember specifics, but I think one is a tad bit longer then the other.
