Yea sorry the flash really screws with the pic, the broken race pieces fell out of the swivel after I got it off, they must have been in the bottom sitting in the oil. The crazy thing is the cv functions fine without the one bearing, obviously im not gonna put it back in cause its defiantly weakened, but it didn't click or nothing.

Has anyone changed the top swivel pin from an abs top pin to a nonabs one, just wondering cause if the top pin or bushing it sits in is worn, its cheaper to buy a non abs pin and bearing from a range rover.

I would imagine that the non ABS will work just fine, you just wont have ABS.

I would check on that cross compatibility of upper swivel pins. If you're talking about a less than $40 difference, I'd rather go with the correct pin. The kit AB has includes the bearing and washers for $59.99 where the non-ABS unit at $19.99 does not.

Well I won't need the pins so I'm gonna just stick with the bearings, I'm gonna order everything tonight. I remember someone fixing some pitting on the swivel ***** with jb weld then painting them, how has it held up.

What all do you need for the rebuild?

Swivel Pin, Bearing, and shims?
(Which bearing)
