It will take longer to make a sandwich............if you have the right tools.

To cope with the alignment issue, secure the frame and the front axle with jack stands. Once that new bushing is in, you will need to align it. But...it is an easy job.

I have poly on one of my Disco's, rubber on the other. If you're in the north (it would help to know where you are in order to tell you where to get them the quickest) there are reports of worse rusting in the bushing bore with poly as they don't fit as tight. YMMV.
Inspect the others, odds are good they all need replacing, panhard rod, radius arms, trailing arms, shock bushings, etc.

I bet that garage put in some made in China bushing or some such..

I think what buggered it was me driving up curbs onto sidewalks and back off.
That should not hurt a rover but in my case....

Sometimes I will drive up onto the sidewalk to park and then back off.
Well, it is a Rover.
It all depends on how hard you hit it! Just because it is a Green Oval does not mean it is indestuctable!

If you got stuff leaking on it constantly, you need to address that as well or it will just continue to fail prematurely.

Wife may be right!

I read that the poly are not as good as original, since you have each Tom, what can you add in this comparison?

Also if they are loose and you bang over a curb carelessly, you're just adding to the wear and damage. Even though it is a Rover, I tend to treat mine with care and not drive it like it's a Chevy Blazer or a Ram Tough Bang it around pickemup truck.

I quit doing the skyjumps after I got rid of my BigFoot BigBock Ramcharger.
