Default steering wheel off center after off roading

After a bit of mild off-roading, my steering wheel is now off to the left about three inches clock position. I did a search and found one possible cause to be bent drag link. Mine appear to be fine. I called a Land Rover specialist here in Austin and he said it was probably the panhard bar.
I have a TF HD adjustable panhard bar. It hasn't changed so don't think that's the cause.

I did find find rear passenger side sway bar link had bound up. I fixed that and went for a drive but the steering wheel is still off.

It does not pull to one side and goes down the street straight if I take my hands off the wheel albeit off center.

It's a '97 D1 with a 2" lift on 265/75 16"s

any ideas?
Thanks,

I doubt anything past the drag link is bent. My guess is you have/had a loose jam nut on either the drag link or panhard rod (depending on the design) which could appear tight now. It's not like you bent the knuckle or anything. Try adjusting whatever bar in the opposite direction without touching the nut, maybe you'll find it's loose?

Jacobmstein,
I did a quick check earlier and all the bolts felt tight but I'll check again in the AM.
Thanks,

If one side tire sticks out more than the other, the pan hard rod is off. If toe out changed the track rod could be off. If toe out is good, the drag link could be off. Try prying on bushings to check for looseness at pan hard rod and radius arms.

Alignment is difficult to eyeball at home, but not impossible. Shop manual says one check for veering is to swap front tires. Easy to do, and can check the hubs at the same time.
