Default Still can't get rid of P0340..where to check ECU connection?

My P0340 woes continue.

Replaced the camshaft sensor
Replaced the crankshaft sensor
Replaced crankshaft sensor wiring

Still have P0340 popping up. I read in another thread that sometimes water can damage the connection at the ECU. I can't find a pic of where to check for this.

Any help certainly appreciated...I'm pulling my hair out!

Well if you think you might have ECU issues I'd remove the ECU and remove the covers and inspect for any sort of corrosion. Also make sure the 3 main plugs aren't corroded. When I got my 97 XD which lived most of it's life up in Iowa it refused to run right. I also couldn't connect an OBD2 scantool to it. Finally removed the ECU, and found it completely corroded!!!!! Found a replacement and it ran like a new truck!

You really need to remove the ECU under the hood & open it up and check for water damage to the PCB or connectors.
